OUR STORY

James and Dynesha currently hold a solid and blissful marriage, but it didn’t become this way overnight. Prior to beginning an unexpected relationship, the two were friends for 4 years. They viewed common morals and values in one other, and decided to give it a chance by “playing house” on the first day of their relationship. Over the years, they have encountered a number of trials and tribulations, which enabled them to work as a team while putting their love and respect for each other at the top of the priority list. After many life experiences, mentoring, counseling, and most importantly, teamwork, the two successfully mended their unhealthy issues and were married 3.5 years later. Since then, the couple have been happily married for 6 years, are raising 4 young boys, and have had the pleasure of assisting many others on their journey towards attaining healthy, stable relationships. 

Our Mission:

The mission of Dating to Marriage Support is to provide women and men the opportunity to learn the values of being an effective wife or husband. Each one plays a significant role in the relationship, which makes for a long-lasting and happy marriage.

Dating to Marriage Support provides adequate skills to a soon to be or/is wife and husband only. We provide step-by-step versatility to be a wife or husband explained in our intensive training based on each individual need. 

How could this help the community?

Wife Training with Husband Mentoring Support can help the community in a number of different ways. Through professional guidance and expertise, individuals are able to learn more about themselves while comprehending their partner’s being.  By focusing on the client and introducing effectual tools that help with personal development, growth, and understanding, he/she will be able to apply the learned methods/techniques obtained from the sessions to real-world scenarios.  

What was your inspiration for this class?

Extensive research on the subject was the driving force behind the sessions. Viewing how many countries put their daughters into some form of wife training motivated James and Dynesha to do something similar.   

Do you provide husband training?

Though the primary focus remains on the woman, men are able to receive services as well. A helping hand is always available through Wife Training with Husband Mentoring Support.  

Why are you focusing on the women and not the men?

There is a lack of adequate life-oriented instruction specifically geared towards women. From childhood to womanhood, the female undergoes tremendous changes to her physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual being. In many situations, an appropriate female mentor is missing, which leaves the woman to figure unfamiliar things out on her own. Wife Training with Husband Mentoring Support wants to fill that void by teaching women how to effectively navigate their way through life.     

Why did you choose the name “Wife Training”? 

Training is simply the development of oneself, improving one’s capability. The name is not intended to be offensive or off-putting, but rather a formal title that tells clients exactly what the program is about. 

The Wife Programs I know are cults. Is this training a cult?

Wife Training with Husband Mentoring Support is not a cult nor is it affiliated with any cults. It is an independent program dedicated towards the betterment of all individuals.  

Is this training a form of slavery?

Wife Training with Husband Mentoring Support does not advocate any forms of slavery. 

Do you tell women to be submissive?

Submission is often viewed in a negative manner. Dating to Marriage Support conveys submission to all individuals, regardless of one’s gender and/or sex.
